A Trio Of Irish Performers You May Not Have Heard Of - Yet!
We want to introduce Dunleath.com followers to a trio of Irish performers that you may not have heard of, but who we think you might like.
1. Kneecap: this Irish language hip-hop band Kneecap pick up award at Sundance Film Festival for a newly-released film about the band.
2. Horslips: an Irish Celtic rock band not dissimilar to Jethro Tull, but arguably far, far better. Their YouTube channel provides a sample of their music, but we would recommend buying their albums - highly recommended. They also include some tracks in Irish as well.
3. Vokxen: described as 'Dark. Filmic. 80's tinged, entrancing electronic pop. Both musically and lyrically, VOKXEN draw influences on Irish folklore, feminism and cult film'. They're arguably one to watch in future and well worth watching in live performance. Their YouTube channel provides a sample of their music.
